Chips: 2,046 | | | Group buy time out? Yes we all love"Group buys" on just about anything we can get our hands on, but it seems too many group buys going on at the same time can really hurt all us buyers! Many of us have to choose between one or another just because of the financial concerns, so how best to have a group buy without cutting each others throat and hurting another's group buy? that is the question! |

Some GB's are simply a matter of circumstance as to when they happen while others are more planned. I personally don't have an opinion as to when they happen or such. |

A lap dance only lasts a few minutes while a custom chip or such keeps its shine for at least a few weeks till you get bored of it and then want to buy a new set. |

Chips: 2,649 | | | Re: Group buy time out? I can sympathize with those who have to chose between eating and buying poker chips but limiting these buys artificially is a bad idea. But lets be honest ; we're here to buy and occasionally sell chips. In between we google and covet each others chips. Occasionally we actually play poker with them. Eating and paying the mortgage can wait. The more group buys; the more pokerchips; so what if you go broke. If you want to save money get on an investment site or join a Christmas club at your bank. |

Chips: 2,046 | | | Re: Group buy time out? Seriously major group buys can take anywheres from three to five months to make it happen and get commitments from people and in this space of time what was "hot" becomes "not" and many people back out and jump on another buy, not that there is anything wrong with that, but why should we be cutting each others group buys up? When all we want is to get the best price for chips at the lowest possible price, which means you need the maximum amount of buyers to get the best price quote! I just thought if there was a way to manage "KEY" group buys it would be a benefit to all members and not just those with deep pockets! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
