Chips: 1,309 | | | Re: Matsui GB: Inlay colors poll Actually, I'm mixed and did not vote. It depends on the inlay. Some edgespot pattern 'frame' the inlay better. Those chips look great with an inlay colored the same as the base. I see this with the $.25, $1, and $500. The $5, $25, and $1000, however, benefit from being a contrasting color to the chip as the edgespot pattern is set further back from the inlay. imho.
Question: Is that Purple color avaialble in Matsui's color palatte?
Suggestion: For the $1000, what if the inlay matched the orange accents, instead of the main burnt red edgespot color? |

Chips: 5,526 | | | Re: Matsui GB: Inlay colors poll J5 used the Matsui palette, so all of the colors are true. I changed the inlay colors on the base match set, so those colors are not exact.

Chips: 504 | | | Re: Matsui GB: Inlay colors poll I think there should be an option to mix these, why does it have to be one or the other?...Obviously we are keeping the $100 chip the same I am sure, and it matches the edge spots...some should match the base color, some not, it just depends on the chip......Therefore I have not voted.

P. | My inclination is also to do it on a chip by chip basis.
Beforehand, we needed to make certain that no changes are necessary with the edgespot patterns. Devilboy, as far as I know, is the only one to suggest a change (the $5 edgespot). I'm fine with 'as-is' or with Devilboy's change.
Then we can have a set of polls as to which way to go with each chip. The polls should be quick since they are independent of each other and can all be conducted at once. My only request is that the polls are accompanied by images showing each option. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
