Re: ASM 1/4" Edgespot GB: Orange 614-2

This would be the cornerstone of my set so I'm going to fight very hard for this. I'd be using it as a live money 5 spot. I think it could play well as a high rent tourney cheque ($1k, $5K, $25K, 1 Billion Dollars) for tourney oriented folks. Even if they had a black cheque in play this at least one step removed from that.

To give some time to another choice, I have to say I like jmda's orange in this thread:

http://chiptalk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12964&page=4

But I've put a lot of time in thought into this. I've actually been working on this one for years. I had it as this way back, then thought I'd want a 8V version, which I tried to shake some action with in the short lived NJ/BC GB thing, I went to 4D14 in a TRKing try but now I'm back home again (though TRK orange 8X1 black is still near and dear to me).

My only thought is if anyone else is intersted at all (and please pipe in so I don't sound like a lonely raving lunatic) is that it would be a small quantity order for most unless they're doing crazy high tourney values. I'd be getting a bunch.

Then we can talk chocolate chip.

Re: ASM 1/4" Edgespot GB: Orange 614-2

The orange chip is sweet. For some reason, the white doesn't strike me as much as gray/black, pink/black, or even all black. I say you should get your orange chip however the heck you want it, though, since you'll be ordering the most and it's kind of a dream chip for you.

I'd also love to see a chocolate chip...how about chocolate with 214 light green edge spots?

I'd just be using a few crazy looking chips as a non-denom tourney set or I'd maybe use them as high value chips to add to my cash set.

And...I was just messing around...orange with black and dayglo peach spots looked pretty darn good. Like I said, meridian rules the day with this chip as far as I'm concerned.

I'm giving a little thought to a non-standard denom set....$2, $10, $50..., if I do it the orange or chocolate will have to fit in there somewhere....

I'm not getting any orange chips, but I will say that if I was, Meridian's orange chip would be perfectally suitable to me as a $1000. Just to make sure, are those black or chocolate spots? I think they are chocolate.

Re: ASM 1/4" Edgespot GB: Orange 614-2

Ta verry much. I'd though about all black and gray/black for the spots but this style is just more striking, plus I think white is used as a spot a lot less often so it would be more unique and make more room/cause less conflict in other chips.

I figured some folks might like this as high society.
