What I would really like is mand red with dg pink 614. That may sound crazy, since there has been so mauch talk about progression, but for me the set prolly stops at the red chip since I want a cash set. I really love the old Rincon $5 chips (mand red with dg pink 514) and this is as close as I can get to it. I know that others have suggested 314 or 414/414-2 but to me the progression from the grey (214) to the blue (414) to the red (614) is what I would really want to see. Anyone else interested in something like that? I could be flexible on colors if spot pattern could be 614. And since we will likely have 2 red base color chips, would it make sense that one was a 614 and the other a 314 or 414?
I like your thoughts on the $5 as a 614 chip here would make a sharp end to a small cash game set. I believe the Rincon $5 chip is actually red with pink spots, not mandarin w/dayglo pink. A chip like that would be sweet!

Well, it is a 614 chip after all, for some reason I thought is was 514. I had discussed this to some extent with ASM previously and while I agree that on the Chip Forge your photo above most closely represents red/pink, this response was sent to me a while back from Cathy at ASM when I asked her to confirm the colors that had originally been used:
"We can make the chips for you in the colors you are looking at and yes that
is man red with day glow pink spots.............."
Either way I would be good to go. I am just glad to hear that there is someone else that would be interested in a red 614!
love it love it love!!! vote yes on Proposition Red 614 DG Pink
