Chips: 8,286 | | | Let's guage the interest in an Abiatti Group buy! I was bored a while back and decided to try to get Abiatti to talk with us (ok - well, just me) about doing a group buy with us. I sent the following: I am a member of an online Poker Chip group in the United States. I would like to know if you would produce a custom set of chips for a small group (30 -60) of us - I think we could get an order of 50,000 minimum - up to 200,000. This email is the starting point and we would like to know if this is something you would do. I know some companies aren't willing to deal with the public and will only deal with casinos - I can assure you this would be done in a professional manner and would not be a headache. We have done numerous "group buys" in the last year and know how the process works and how to keep things running smoothly. These chips would be for personal use and not for resale. Thanx in advance for your reply. Phil Lecuyer Ok - so it was a little aggressive in quantity - but I think it got their attention - which is what I was trying to do. Here's what I got today: Dear Mr. Phil Lecuyer,>> > >First let me apologies for the late reply to your email, we normally sell exclusively to Casino’s, but for the size of order you have indicated we would consider looking at this project with you.>> > >Do you have any artwork or Styles of chip that you require?>> > >Before we can start the quotation process we need as much information as you can give us.>> > >I look forward to receiving your further instructions and working with you on this project.>> > >Kind regards>> > >Terry Clarke>> Commercial Director>> Office + 39 0119567865>> Fax + 39 011 9567871>> Mobile + 39 335 188 2692>> Email x x x x x x www.abbiati.com>> |

I especially like the various plaques. Especially the oval ones. For those of you who haven't seen the abbiati product line yet, do yourself a favor. Here's a little tease: |

I will be asking about price shortly - once I get a feel for how many people are interested. |
