Canadian Pride -- Which Manufacturer

I have included all the clay manufacturers, just to be fair to all of them.

I know that some of these will not get any votes, but there they are any way (like the communist party on the election ballot)

Re: Canadian Pride -- Which Manufacturer

I'm really undecided on this...

ASM - it would be nice that they could ship from their place in Canada. The chips are nice, but the edgespots could use a little more variety.

Blue Chip/Nevada Jacks - which mold? I've only handled the suits mold and not the flame mold (or others), but I really like that one. And is apparently the better made chip by them. Love the edgespot possibilities.

TR King - again, nice looking chips. The edgespots can be ok, once you get used to how small they are, I think. Some of the group buys I've seen looked great. I haven't handled these, though. And how much difficulty is it going to be to deal with them?

Matsui - probably not the best idea, which is too bad.

Buy Poker Chips - I just wouldn't want to deal with them at all. The price isn't too appealing either, if they even do customs.

Right now, I think my choice would be between BC/NJ and TR King. Which I think would depend highly on the mold that could be used for a custom Blue Chip. Of course, if there is going to be trouble dealing with either of them for a smaller group buy like this, ASM might have to be the option to go with.

Maybe StraightFlush.ca would want to get in on this?

I think ASM might be a decent option because they are in Canada, could save us a wack of money on shipping and what not.

And Ivan (straightflush) may be into this, funny enough I actually only live like 2 minutes from him. I see him quite often at the local postal outlet shipping out stuff. If any Canadians haven't dealt with him, I'd certainly suggest it, he's a great guy to deal with.

Not to burst a bubble - but ASMs are actually manufactured in Portland, Maine - their sales office for pokerchips.com is in Canada. Still has the connection and Maine is really close.
