Re: TR King Group Buy (Edgespotted)... $5 EDGESPOTS ONLY
I think that we are going down the wrong path here. What I think that we should do is decide the edge spot pattern without regard to color. We can figure out colors once we have the patterns figured out.
Like I posted in the other thread, if we do it this way we are going to end up with some individual chips that look great by themselves, but don't look good as a set.
I voted for a 3x2 with one color, but my vote was based on the fact that I don't think that the $1 should be a 4x1. Yeltzen has stated that the $1 will be a 4x1, if that is the case 2 of the 4 choices you have given us are definately the same or less ornate than the $1 chip. This would then violate the simple to ornate.
See what I mean, the progression needs to be chosen as a whole not chip by chip.
Re: TR King Group Buy (Edgespotted)... $5 EDGESPOTS ONLY
We're bagging the 3 half-moons from the design because they go too far into the chip towards the inlay. Correction: I'm bagging it. Mostly because of what I said and the fact that we can use a 3x2 with the same color to make a similar design that will match the other edgespots.
Re: TR King Group Buy (Edgespotted)... $5 EDGESPOTS ONLY
Now the domino effect begins. Once we pick a $5 edgespot, that choice will have a direct effect on the $25 chip edgespots. My set will start with the $25 chip, but I will vote on this poll because the progression will effect the entire set.
Re: TR King Group Buy (Edgespotted)... $5 EDGESPOTS ONLY
Well, I think a lot of people will only be buying the $25 on up. Because of that, I'll have a poll for you all to choose whether the $25 is a continuation of the edgespot progression, or if it will start over again. Even if the $25 is a 4x2, we will still have the 3x2 single color (using 3 different colors), the 4x2 using two opposing colors (XX YY XX YY pattern), the 5x1, and other designs I'm sure we can come up with. So we have options.
