Alright, here's some rough mockups of our options for the 25¢ chip... I want it to be either grey or white (since the $1 chip will be blue based on the poll). The edgespots should be very basic, possibly none at all. The colors I have on the mockups aren't set in stone, but that's not a big deal, we can iron that out later if people have a big problem with them. Keep in mind if the 3x1 pattern is chosen, the $1 chip will have no edgespot choices, it will be a 4x1.

I'll also say now that I understand there's a big bias here because there are more than one choice for the grey spots. If the blank grey chip gets 5 votes and the 4 spotted grey chips get 4 votes each, the blank chip won't win. In that case we'll probably have another poll to choose the edgespots. I have a feeling though that either a blank chip or one specific spotted chip will get the majority so we'll avoid that mess.

• Grey: Can be used with both blue $1 and white $1 chipsets.
• 2-spots: Just enough to make counting easier and lend visual interest (if I wanted no edgespots, I'd just buy faux clays instead).

Yeah, you're right... I didn't even think about that. I was just picking colors that looked good.

Majority means more than half. We're not going to get more than half with 6 options. Should we refrain from voting if we dont want a 25 cent chip? I wont vote on this one unless it effects the other chips I plan on getting.

If the 25¢ chip is meaningless to you, then don't vote.
After I talk to Dennis today, this poll could be totally meaningless, anyways. With the way the edgespot poll is going, if we aren't able to use the base color for one of the edgespots, then there won't be much choice but to make the 25¢ chip blank.
These polls aren't used to get a majority. Too many people have too many different tastes for that. But I can't just make all the decisions myself, so I need you all to push me one way or another.

I agree Yeltzen if we cant make the base color one of the edge spot colors (and have just two spots) then the 25¢ should be blank - While the blue spot looks nice, the white spots will go better with the blue $1 chip.
