Chips: 12 | | | Is the dollar definitely White????
We need to poll that first....
If it's white, I'll vote 3 moons
If it's blue, I'll vote 4x1, not sure which |

Chips: 1,576 | | | Come on ehanhan,
You are being really amateurish on this whole thing.
I thought that those of us that have been through this a few times were quite clear on this.
Start with the Theme first. It is only initial anyway. Then go on to individual chips. Start with the lowest denom and move up.
White vs Blue base color is a big deal to a lot of us! Lets take that into consideration. I know you don't care much about the $1 chip as you don't plan on using it, but others do.
I didn't even vote because I don't think any of the options you put up are acceptable. Why only these options? What about some other simple ones too like NO Edge spot, or 3x1 or 3x2 with both being the same color.
This is getting ridiculous. Start treating this seriously or you will lose interest.

Chips: 1,071 | | I have played at Aztar a few times - It is not a bad combo. However, i prefer chips to have less edge spots at the lower denominations and have more elaborate as the chip values get bigger
I also prefer Blue over White for $1 chips |

AB | Well, it seems like the people who are being overyly assertive are the same ones that are going to keep bitching until they get what they want. These are poker chips FFS, some of the people doing the bitching probably won't even buy the chips or will buy them and turn right around and sell them on ebay... insert name here. I'll continue to vote and pass on my thoughts to those that took the initiative to get this thing rolling, not to those trying to hijack it. If it falls apart, at least there was some effort. Vote entered.[/rant] |

(and I am not referring to what I want or don't want as far as inlay, edge spots colors etc.)

Chips: 121 | | Not really directed at you, I should have altered the quote a bit or not used it at all, it was just a generalization of some posts made that didn't offer any help to this cause. My rant was probably a bit much also, I am just finally excited about a groupbuy that seems like it could be really good in the end. Besides, no hate goes out to da peeps in Minnesota. I used to hang out there quite a bit when I was stationed in ND.

Chips: 7,134 | | | Yeah, this poll is essentially worthless.
There are at LEAST 3 steps/polls that should have happened before this... inlay theme, blue vs. white, $0.25 chip... I think people are getting way too caught up in what their favorite edgespots are for each color chip instead of looking at the set as a whole. You might not like one chip's colors by itself, but within the set they look good... and the only way to look at it that way is to have a theme in stone to begin with.
I'd be more than happy to make polls but I'm not going to step on anyone's ground. I'll only make polls for my own group buy or if someone explicitly tells me to do it for theirs. |
