Bounty Chip - Which ceramic chip do you want?

We've got enough interest to proceed with the purchase of the bounty chip above but first I'd like to run this short poll to decide who will make it.

Here are some points to consider when deciding.

CASINOTEK
-ChipCo-like quality (smooth, lightly-textured face) but no white ring around edge of face
-Solid color edge, probably brown to match face edge
-3-4 week delivery time after artwork finalized
-84 cents/chip if buying 500 custom chips, price goes down if buying more

NEVADA JACKS
-Rough, gritty texture to face and no white ring around edge
-Possible marbled edge design for 'smokey' effect
-1-2 week delivery time after artwork finalized
-95 cents/chip, no quantity discount for our size group buy (<1000 chips)

Poll will run for 5 days. Please only vote if you plan on buying this bounty chip. Thank you.

Might also want to mention the ability to do a marbled edge on Nevada Jacks. Could be either a positive or negative influence on the decision.

Are there significant differences in the graphic detail/capabilities between the two companies?
If so, Id want to obviously go with whoever has the higher resolution, or clearest image.

Still not sure who to vote for...the sharpness of detail is sort of a big deal.
I know this wont be a popular statement, especially since I have yet to see them first hand, but the AB by NJ's seemed a bit blurry. The really was a loss of resolution in the image to chip transfer, IMO.
Wondering if this really is the case, and if so, can it be avoided by going with Casino Tek.
If not, no worries. Still count me in for 15-20.

I'll try to help you out here boondocker. If you read the last post by Matthew here: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/viewto...=3665&start=25
He says he thought his casinotek sample was a chipco. The only real difference he noticed was a slightly lower weight and different mint mark. Although he didn't really mention about the graphics, he implied that there was no difference there between casinotek and chipco. That being said, our bounty chip graphic is just going to be large text and I don't think it makes that much difference visually if it's on casinotek or nj ceramics. Hope that helps.

Thas pretty much what I figured. Im probably being too anal about this...and since Im in for a small amount, its not like I should make a big deal about it.

And it looks like it is pretty much up in the air still. Dwight maybe we should go with a manufacturer that we know will do a good job with them and get them to us all in a reasonable amount of time.
