| | | Black Sands (Formerly Matsui) Group Buy- ASM or TR King?
Well, I gave myself and Matsui a deadline, and after more then two weeks without them responding to Ace's e-mails, and the talk of them realizing mass producing clay chips was harder then they thought, we have to move on. As much as I would like to stick with Matsui, I would like even more to see this buy - its inlay, its colors, the no-edgespot design - continue. I'm already pretty sure where I want this to go, but I want to make sure that the group thinks the same way (after all, if I was the only one buying these chips, it wouldn't make for much of a group buy).
And, like all the other polls, please only vote if you are going to be buying chips. Doing anything otherwise throws off the polls for everyone. |

| | | I voted wrong, change one vote to TR King, if the prices are close I'd prefer TR King. I've never played with either, but the reviews on the TR Kings seems better. I'm getting ASM samples soon, I just e-mailed Cathy at Pokerchips.com for samples of the horse heads and the A mold. My only concern is from what I read at pokerchipreviews with ASM's breaking when dropped on tile. My whole house is hardwood and tile, I was wondering what peoples opinions was of durability of ASM's.

Even the day glo chips, which are more fraile, do not bust simply by dropping them onto a hard surface. ASM's are solid, bottom line.
That being said, I selected TR King because I already have a ASM's and would like something different for my second set.

| | I think the "plain" mold would be the best for this. Someone post an image of the plain mold that the guy used for his Rounders replicas...
Second choice H mold, then A mold. Notice these are all ASM choices... |
