I believe I saw yet another thread in which he mentions the case being a tool case from Home Depot?
Looks like a nice, handy set-up. |

Chips: 11,934 | | | Thanks for the information. I am looking for a good way to store my chips. I have an excellent Pelican case, but am still exploring how to organize them inside the case. I have considered keeping them loose in rows (like in a standard chip case), but would prefer some type of tray with a lid.

The boxes make it much more handy to pull more chips out: just grab a box and go. For tourneys, I can even "pre-stage" the initial buy-in stacks in the boxes. I will never go back to loose storage.
The case I have is indeed a "Husky" brand tool case from Home Depot. The foam in the lid does not come with it (I happened to have a piece lying around). The case is not very good quality--it doesn't close very tightly, the walls flex, and the handle looks like it may come out or the wall to which it is attached might break if I carry it around too often. I think it is a cheap Chinese knock-off of some other high-quality design.
I too, have investigated Pelican, but the prices and the lack of latch locks are an issue. I have toyed with getting a Zero Halliburton--nice cases, but oh those prices! |

Chips: 11,934 | | | My Pelican doesn't have latch locks, but can accept a pad lock/combination lock. As for the price, it was more than an aluminum chip case, but when you compare extra expense versus added quality it is an easy purchase.

That's one of the reasons I posted those pictures. . .
But here are some hints: - Hint #1:

- Hint #2: Each box holds 100 chips.
And just so you don't think I'm a total dique (even though I really am), here's the easy way out:
$1 - 250
$5 - 150
$25 - 450
$100 - 400
$500 - 200
$1000 - 50
TOTAL: 1500 chips | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
