Np, picking the colors is always the hardest thing to do. Mocks are one thing, but until you actually see your colors on a chip, you can't be positive they will work together.

Above is the color scheme we used. One weakness in the set was what I was thinking was an overuse of red.

At some point I was thinking that I might rather have something like this

Here's what I might wind up ordering as a hotstamp cash set.

I agree 100% w/ the red thing - and those are the exact $100s I was thinking of replacing mine with.

I love the $500 though, wouldn't change that even though yours does look awesome.

Re: Custom Kings Crown Chips

Yeah I hadn't posted it, but when I did the picture replacing only the $100 the $500 looked just fine in there. I like the 'new' $500 more, but probably not enough to worry about it. And it might not look as good in person as it does on the screen.

EDIT: I also wanted to mention that while I hadn't originally been too keen on the looks of the quarter, I now think it is a very strong contribution to the set. I only got 20 when I ordered but might have more whipped up when/if I do any rounding out of the set. I have 850 from this run and haven't quite figured out what I'll be getting in the hotstamps. I also have a set of Egyptians that I might hang onto (tourney set for 6-8 players including a few plaques)....
