My e-mails go unanswered with respect to pricing, etc... And, at the moment, I really don't have a lot of spare time to dedicate myself to continually pester Tommaso to get another GB done. At the same time, I'm a little unhappy with the new changes that have been implemented here on Chiptalk.

Re: ZERO Playing Card GB Pics and Feedback

I used a deck of both on sat night and they were received well. For me the Tabriz felt better than the infinity for some reason, the felt a little crisper.

Some pics are here : http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/home-g...hing-cash.html

Re: ZERO Playing Card GB Pics and Feedback

We got 3 setups of the Infinity cards into play last night and they were well received by the guys. They got more positive feedback than any other deck I have ever used. I didn't expect to like the the backs but after getting them into play they are my favorite. The Tabiriz are great as well but I suspect the Infinity setups will be getting more play at my place. Hoping that another GB is put together for more.

Agree with GCriss. Between his Man Cavern (can't really call it a cave with 6 TV's) 3 tables, custom Steel City Club BCC tournament chips, and HIgh Roller Club cash chips, the Infinity cards were the cherry on top of the 6 hour mangasm. The index is a liiiiitle big, but I defintely prefer the full bleed to Infinity to the Tabriz. Hope to get in on the next GB as well.

Re: ZERO Playing Card GB Pics and Feedback

I posted this message in the other thread for the GB, but it has been locked... so I am posting it here hoping that people will see it. Still can't believe that these were shipped this way from their factory, you would think that they have people checking for things like this !!!

FROM OTHER THREAD:
Okay, so here is my ONLY issue with these cards... I can't use them !!!

I did receive both decks, even though my packaging was also damaged, which led to one of the cards in the decks having a corner bent [looks like someone dug a fingernail into it and put a permanent crease in it]. Luckily, I guess, the deck that had the damaged card was the RED deck... which just happened to be the deck that has the INK STAINING!

You can see in the pic that I have attached of the cards that were affected, the 3 across the top and the one in the lower right corner, clearly have black smudges/streaks of ink, grease, whatever it is smeared on them. I have tried everything I can think of to safely remove it and it will not come off. I don't want to try anything else as I am afraid it will remove the back of the card, or damage it further.

The card in the lower left corner [while it is tough to see in this pic] is the card that has the bad corner from the shipping damage.

I have circled all of the blemishes with blue circles to highlight the problems.

My blue deck is problem free, just seems to be a problem with the reds.

Have we heard anything else about replacement cards or decks? I really like these cards and want to use them, but cannot bring myself to do so with these cards in this condition... would YOU? I doubt it. Hope there is something that can be done about these issues and that the company realizes that they are sending out a product like this... can you imagine if a CASINO got these cards... SH!T would hit the fan !!!

Fingers crossed...

Re: ZERO Playing Card GB Pics and Feedback

I thought we had agreed that we would get replacements through the next group buy. I will ask Tommaso again if he could please send a couple of replacement decks.

I must have missed that.
If that does happen though, I don't use bridge size or regular index cards.

Let me know what you find out.
Thanks again.

Re: ZERO Playing Card GB Pics and Feedback

Could you please specify if it was a red or blue tabriz?

Ligarius - do you know if they replace individual cards?

Aside from this, I still like the cards though!
