Hotstamped ASM Hourglass Cash Set

Just arrived in record time from the USA (and slipped past customs, woot!)

Big thanks to ACESFULL for organising the group by from ASM, I'm sure group buys don't run smoother than this. And a big thanks also to SuckoutKing, who did the stamping of these beauties, perfectly. Couldn't reccommend both of them enough.

600 in total for a 0.25/0.50 blinds NLHE cash game (sometimes 0.25/0.25 if we use the $ as £):

200 x 0.25 (chocolate)
200 x $1 (imperial blue)
100 x $5 (mandarin red)
50 x $20 (yellow)

And another 50 in spares or extras. I've got a game tomorrow, so they'll be christened then, and after that I'll see about oiling them. I know some don't, but I love the brass sparkle in them also.

SOK also inlcuded some other examples of his hotstamping, the Dunes stamp is even better in person than in his stunning photos!

I should have gotten in on the GB............

The chocs are defintely my favourite too, and were the only colour I was going to have non-traditional, and after seeing those 0.25 Horseshoes , there was no decision to be made.

I'd maybe round out with a few more chips if there was another down the line...

Beautiful set Lewis. I was thinking about that GB myself, but money wasn't flowing. I have talked to SuckOutKing and want to do something in the future though. Those babies need some oil. Post pics after you oil them up. And good luck tomorrow. Every time I broke in new chips I won

Love this set! All Gold Spec solids, with Gold foil is very HOT. Thanks for the Pron and good luck in that upcoming event. Let us know how you do.

Woo hoo!

For the first time ever, I won with new chips! $40 buy in 0.25/0.50NLHE, when we finally called it a day I had about $120.

Chips were liked by ever player, and I found that they shuffle a dream, even brand new with sharp edges. I think I will oil them, after about 8 hours of play & being handled, they now are a mix of dusty & bright chips. I'll post more pics if/when I do.

Heheh, yip, just another one or two nights like it! Chips compared very favourably to my paulson Saharas which they all love.

A very, very loose game that ended up only 5 handed after about 4 hours with lots of 'family' pots. I admittedly caught cards left right and centre and got called down by 2 pairs etc when I held flushes, straights and full houses. And as long as I played a little tighter than everyone else, I figured I'd go just fine.

BB raised, I re-raised, he called (figured here he did not have the flush, maybe a flush draw though, which I was comfortable with).

BB Raised again. I re-raised. He folded, but showed his cards. A friendly game, nothing to lose so I showed also, with my straight and one card away from a (possibly Royal) flush. All the other players wanted to rabbit hunt the river to see if I would have got the Royal and the dealer did so:
