Just wanted to say these look great! That's got to be one of the nicest GB tourney sets ever!
Keep in mind that solids made from "day-glo" colours are bound to be lighter and less durable (more fragile) since they don't contain brass flakes. In the old days, you could only use "day-glo" colours for edge spots for these reasons... but if you're determined, now you can get "day-glo" base colours but will be warned that they'll be on the light side.
I imagine that you'll find all the brass flake chips (chocolate, purple, mand-red, imp-blue, white, grey) will weigh in around 8.5 g.
Ya I knew that.. but oddly enough no matter how many times I throw the black one with brass flakes in it on the scale it still registers in the 7 gram range! All the others are in the 8s! I didnt order the dayglo orange chip when I orig bought my other set just for that reason... I still like em! lol
(...) I was curious if anyone else has put them to a scale! I have a decent scale and put them on it individually and stacked and took an average of the data! I came out that they are around 7.6 grams each! Anyone else?
You haven't seen my pictures upper in the thread ?
100 Chocolate = 808 grams
100 DG green/DG peach = 741 grams
Chips were not oiled yet when I took the pictures.
