Well, here's a first shot!
I really love'em. The first thing I saw was that sweet brass shine, when I opended the box with the chock T100.

I bought a sample set of these from aces and received them today! Love em... very nice! I was curious if anyone else has put them to a scale! I have a decent scale and put them on it individually and stacked and took an average of the data! I came out that they are around 7.6 grams each! Anyone else?

As a side note the yellow 1000 broke almost in half during shipping which I have found odd since jsmithjr in his thread about hotstamping some makes comments about dropping one 3 times and it survived! Who knows maybe some odd blenish in this one!

Keep in mind that solids made from "day-glo" colours are bound to be lighter and less durable (more fragile) since they don't contain brass flakes. In the old days, you could only use "day-glo" colours for edge spots for these reasons... but if you're determined, now you can get "day-glo" base colours but will be warned that they'll be on the light side.

I imagine that you'll find all the brass flake chips (chocolate, purple, mand-red, imp-blue, white, grey) will weigh in around 8.5 g.
