It was kind of disappointing to see that. | Paulson makes all their clay chips in Mexico, as well as their cards, layouts, etc. These latest inlays/hotstamps are the same as casino chips, made with the same materials, same equipment, same people.
They moved the plant from Vegas a number of years ago (I think 6-8?). Last I talked with them, they finish their Bud Jones chips in Vegas and do a few other things there, but most of their North American work is in Mexico. |

how are you playing w/o 100s? | I plan on using the 25's 1's and 5's for cash games. I don't really plan on using the 500's and 1000's. I just really liked the colors and design so i added them to my order. I wasn't really a fan of the 100's and the non-denom chip's...if i do eventually add to this set i plan on adding the 100's. That way i can play a tournament with the 25's and color up with the 100's |

On a side note, has anyone noticed that the insets (hotstamp area) is deeper on one side than the other? The bottom right picture above is a good representation. I've noticed this the most on the yellow-1000. Some appear to have no inset at all.
Note*** I posted this comment in another thread and it received no comment so I thought I'd comment again. |

Chips: 64 | | | Re: Pictures of my privates... I saw your comment in the other thread and checked mine, but didn't really notice a difference. Then again, I didn't buy any 1000s...
I did, however, try stacking them in stacks of 40 because someone said they wobbled, and boy do they wobble. I noticed that, when in the case, if you push on the bottom of a whole row of chips (so that the chip case is bracing the top of the row), they have this springy/spongy effect as a whole, meaning they are slightly warped. So I jammed them in as tight as I could possibly fit them in the rows of my 750 mahogany case to try to flatten them out. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
