question about these chips to those ppl who have received them.
you know how the shaped inlays have a difference in weight between the diff denominations
are these the same? are their weights different with each denoms?
They are the same exact chips and will have the same differences. All paulson chips are like this, there is no standard weight. They seem to fall somewhere between the high 8s and mid to high 10s of grams.
i thought i read somewhere the weight difference might have been because of the diff inlays? i could be wrong....
like there was a 1g difference?
There is an almost 2 gramme difference between the 5 and the 5000 chip but it has nothing (or very little) to do with the different inlays.
Inlay chips may way more or less than hotstamped chips, but you can expect to find weight differences between (and to a lesser degree within) denominations on the hotstamped chips like on the shaped inlay chips.

Anyone that has handled diiferent clay chips has experienced the weight differences between colors. The Pharoahs had light yellow $1000 chips, my TRK's had a heavy gray chip (approx. 10 g) and the chocolates were much lighter (around 9g). I imagine the same is occurring with these. We just played with our friends Paulson starbursts this past weekend, his peach chips are heavier than most of the others...all nice though.
