Re: Post your Bellagio pics!

To all the ones that have already received their chips:

I recievd a few samples of some of the earlier runs of these, and one of them was printed WAY off center. To the point that the corner farthest from the "inlay" area was a little "white-ish" as if it was reaching the limits of being printed at all. Have any of you noticed any of your chips being printed off center by a noticable amount?

I would actually have to see an example to be sure of what you are talking about, but I don't think I have noticed anything like that. I haven't even come anywhere close to inspecting all of my chips, but the ones I have looked at didn't have any noticeable problems besides bleeding edgespots and some blurry/distorted inlays.

I don't have access to the scanner at work right now, (since my boss is here), but in Tomb 1's pic you can see the same thing in the top 100K chip. It looks like that chip was printed off center to the right. Look at the left edge/corner of the chip. You can see a little white around that edge/corner. (By no means am I trying to pick at your chips Tomb). The example I have is of a 10K chip and it shows up a little better. It's not really that big of a deal, but it is very noticable on mine that the chip is not centered at all. This has been something in the back of my mind for the past few months that I have been hoping would not be an issue.

Re: Post your Bellagio pics!

I got them and will try and scan them soon. I will also have a mini opinion as if anyone would care.

Re: Post your Bellagio pics!

My opinion.

Yes these chips are cheap but I think the old adage that you get what you pay for is true. These do not come close to Chipco, Nevada Jacks etc. Lots of printing issues here and I only have 2 of each chip.

1. Color bleed on the face and edges.
2. Color splattering
3. I do not think a single one of the chips look the same for the center area. Look at the word TOURNAMENT and the background color.
4. Some chips have deformities on the face. I am talking about the actual chip.

The above are just some of my observations. Maybe I am too critical.

The weight seems fine and the sound of them seems fine. Overall they are good for the money you pay.
