Re: Post your Bellagio pics!

One of the main differences that I noticed between the smooth and the textured (besides the textured surface itself) was that the textured chips have a ridge around the edges of both side of the chips. I bought only smooth; however, the original prototypes that I had SunFly make with Marduk's artwork were on the textured blanks. Although the original artwork sent was in poor resolution, the textured surface doesn't seem to detract too much detail from the printing. I think both are done very well (except the T100s...oh well).

i spoke with sun- best we can get is a redo at our cost for thr 100's for those who are unhappy--
our landed cost will probably be around .23 - .24 cents so maybe is is a solution-- i can live with my 100's as its not a big deal to me- but i'll see what our actual landed cost is when i get back from vegas

Joe, I am definitely interested in this. Is the idea that these would be aligned in order to fix the bleed problems or do they have something else up their sleeve?

Re: Post your Bellagio pics!

OK....The dust has settled and almost all of us have our chips. The questiuon is what are we, as a group going to do for Joe?

First of all - I for one am willing to provide a written testimonial and serve as a reference for Joe. Joe PM me and I'll give you my home number . I'll write up something if you want to use it on your website.

Second - I plan on throwing more business his way, and encouraging my non CT buddies to order from him also.

Third - It would be nice if we did something for him in the way of a gift.

Any thoughts on this?

Joe If they are aligned - I'm in even at a higher price. If they are non aligned I'm not interested and will make due withn what I have.

Since Joe has obviously got the chip bug, and is enterprising, maybe we could help him with a future chip design. This isn't such a great idea, because I know I don't have any talent in this area--so my suggestion amounts to what other people besides myself could do for Joe. But knowing what little I know about Joe, it seems like something he would appreciate.
