WTF!!??!! I agree that Nevada Jack ghosh chip is sweet but how in hell does that happen?

#2 A $5 chip. This is the worst from my two sample sets, in terms of inlay quality. It also has an "extra" spot. I have no real problem with this chip, and wouldn't mind at all using it in a game.

#3 The "flash" I was talking about. This extra material at the corner of the chip makes shuffling even harder than the usual square corners of new clay chips. I doubt this would take very long to wear away as the chips get broken in (or it could be easily removed). I just wanted to get a picture of it while it was new.

#4 The "Nevada" mold ghost on a $500 chip. This puppy is a collector's item for me. I like it.

The chips were prepped using the Nevada mold, then finished with the "T" mold.

(Ive also got a C&S anomaly as well )

25cent: 10.15gm, 39.8mm; 9.8gm, 39.8mm
$1: 9.62gm, 9.53 gm
$5: 9.52gm, 9.7gm
$25: 9.42gm, 9.53gm
$100: 9.47gm, 9.51gm
$500: 9.56gm, 9.75gm
$1000: 9.21gm, 9.46gm
$5000: 9.7gm, 9.47gm

The diameters run from 39.69 to 39.82 mm, with chips typically round within .02mm. (That's a range of about 0.005", a bit smaller than the width of a human hair.)

I beg to differ... I don't think these pics are anywhere near as good as yours, but thanks for the compliment and encouragement anyhow. The originals of these are 2400 to 2900 pixels diameter, though, so if anybody wants to make a poster-sized print of them, let me know and I'll make the high res files available.

Boon,
I can indeed see the "Nevada" in one of your pics, but it does look much more shallow than the sample I showed. (And no --- you can't have mine )

Re: Samurai Group Buy Photos

Capt'n and Boon,

Awsome pics guys.......... I have one of the ghost molds on a $500 that is about like the one Capt'n has.

I have a total of 4 error collector chips that are being set aside in a safe place
.... The ghost Nevada $500 chip
.... The Green chip with $5 inlay
.... The rare $5 chip with 2 white inlays
.... And my most prized possesion the UBER rare $1 inlay on the $1000 chip

I hope to get some pics up in the next couple days with all of them together...
