Yeah man if you can break away from your fatherly duties, your money is good here...
I will say this though, my weekly game is not for the faint of heart.
Unlimited rebuys with some deep pocket players ($20 buy-in, T5000)....weekly pots usually hits $300-$400.
Wide range of players, from total donk to vegas tourney winners and such.
I kid about the baby cuz my closest friend just had a girl, so Im in full "Look at the baby" mode.....

So how about the infamous BC quality of inlays and weight? From the pictures the inlays look pretty damn good compared to some of the BC Bonds I have, but what are everyone's impression of the chip feel and sound?

Feel and sound are UNREAL.
This chip is a whole new chip, from the ground up. (composition, weight, mold)
They stack like cinder blocks.
Its no joke. These chips are crazy dope.
BC still hasnt solved thier inlay problems, but they are no where near as bad as the JB's that you have.
These are the sweetest BC's yet....

I think I may have come across the wrong way...
I wasnt trying to toot my own horn , as much as I wanted to convey the wildness of the game I play in.
Bunch of flop happy, never saw 2 they didnt like, rebuy luvin fools.
Really great guys though.
Its tough for a tight (broke) guy such as myself.

I love the chips, but hate the geisha theme. Sucks, cause I'd buy them otherwise. |

The alternate side is a geisha yes, but the over all theme is simply meant to be Japanese in general.
My idea was that it was supposed to be for a Casino/Hotel that was called the Samurai Palace.
If this were a real establishment over the years it is unlikely that every chip and logo they might have would
not always or exclusively contain an actual Samurai; so it was very plausible imo that the geisha image could be used
in an authentic way – more so in fact than putting some cheesy image of Samurai on there.
The geisha image is from a very, very old piece of Japanese wood block art going back to a period when Samurai's were still very prevalent.

Chips: 8,288 | | | Re: Samurai Group Buy Photos Did the Pharaoh's Club chips have Pharaoh's on each chip? Nope. When you really put some thought into it and think about all the various poker chips out there, you realize that having an exact picture of the actual casino name stands for is not mandated.
Having a Samurai on the front (white side) of the chip would have been goofy. Geisha's rule. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
