Re: More Beauty

Nice chips! And photos! Only real photos I've seen of these has been top down shots. They really look nice when stacked and splashed in a pot like you have here.

but they appear to be out right now (not listed). I know that similar cases have appeared on ebay and I belibe that 5-* carries them.

I do not think that it is sturdier than a typical birdcage. The construction is similar - with a plexiglas cover instead of the cage. The cover is only held in place with a couple of wooden pins - which could be easily lost.

It is also all wood (and there was a cherry or reddish wood version that looked pretty cool). So the welded metal cages would definately be stronger.

Another drawback - I ordered chip racks with covers. The racks are slightly larger than the grooves that the housing uses to hold them. I do not know if it is the fault of the rack or the case - but makes pack up a bit more difficult.

Still - it is a nice display case and I have not had any real trouble with it.

Talking Re: More Beauty

I don't think my poker game could take that much distraction, I have a hard enough time playing the game!
