I've got a little story for you all that that you might find humorous, but it nearly caused me to have a heart attack!
First of all, I'd ordered 500 pharaoh's chips from Michael and UPS tracking had always indicated that my chips would be delivered on the 11th (tomorrow). So around noon today I checked the UPS website to see if they were still on-time, and when the page came up, suddenly my heart stopped when I read that it had already been delivered and signed for by someone named 'Dramshack', yet I'd been at home all day and not heard a thing!
My mind started racing with all kinds of ideas of who could have my chips, where did that lame UPS driver mistakenly drop them off at, and will I ever get them back?
Not what you'd call a stress-free moment.
Anyways, long-story-short, after calling UPS and emailing HPC to verify my shipping info (which, once again I'll add to the praise for Michael who responded immediately), I discovered that UPS apparently did knock on my door (softly enough that I didn't hear it while being 30 feet away) and decided to leave it with my landlords roommate in the next apt., hence the reason I didn't recognize his name.
So, for all those who are still waiting for their delivery, UPS
may deliver early, they
may leave it at your neighbors, and I'd suggest you wait for UPS curbside until your chips come so as to avoid the paranoia and stress of what I just went through.
BTW, the chips are awesome, thanks MS, Ten, et al!
