I recently talk to Matsui about making large customs plaques (like the ones shown on the WPT in Paris). The good news, they can make it but the minimum order is 100 plaques.

My design will be red and probably a spade in the middle. Denomination will be 200,000.

Design is still in the works, and still don't know what the price will be.

Any thoughts?

Well i think sw's group buy is only 1 denom. Making things really challenging. And he wants the denom to be 200k which it way too high for my games.

well 5k would be perfect for me.... and... maybe if we get this all figured out we can do multiple denoms if enough people are interested

If denom, I would not be able to use anything other than 5K. Even 5K would be pushing things for my normal games, but the coolness factor would warrent the purchase. Non-denom, wierd or otherwise, would work for me, but 200K is way outside the realm of possibilities. I may get one or two for samples, but anything above 5K would be useless for playing purposes, at least for me. If 200K works for the majority, then go forth and do great deads; however, if 200K does not work for the majority, non-denom should be carefully considered.

For everyone wanting a 5K plaque, have you considered the Egyptian 5K plaque? I guess it may not match your set well but I'll be using them with my high denom Pharoah set.

I'm thinking of using the Matsui plaques with the Matsui decal chips (ultra high denom set) so 100K or non-denom is preferred for me.

Actually, I thought about planning to design other denom as well. The problem is Matsui is charging for custom design.

My initial plan was to make a 200k and a 10k. I could start with the small denom first.

I pm fcuk about helping me out on this.

Any updates on this...I've been searching for 5k plaques lately that I could use any set.

I got a late response from Matsui

151 X 105 mm plaques is $15.00 each plus Artwork fee.
and the smallest one is around $5.

Here what denomination and size I would plan to use:

200k - 151 X 105 mm
100k - 140 X 97
50k - 129 X 90
25k - 119 X 82
10k - 95 X 66
5k - 82 X 57

Don't forget minimum is 100 plaques and and there is a $390 artwork fee per denom.
