I have been in contact with matsui about making a decal chip (bud jones style) along the lines of the WSOP chips. I have recieved artwork from matsui. The artwork is below. The molds are not binding. I was looking to see if there is interest in these chips, and to see if anybody would like to get a group buy going. The Bud Jones mold CANNOT be used in this buy. We are limited to the matsui molds. The price per chip will be under .90/ chip.

If you say the right words to the right people anything is possible. Or just flash a big wad of cash in front of their faces. A big enough order will be a good enough reason to sell to a non casino customer.

I got 5 samples of the decal chips (and the clays, and the coin inlays) very easy.

I just sent an email to them requesting 2 of each. They sent me 3 clays, 4 decals and 5 coin inlays. No problem.

The decal chips are very cool. They are at least as nice as Bud Jones chips IMHO.

Just got some GREAT news back. It looks like we may be able to get these chips as cheap as .80 a chip. This is an amzing deal. I also spoke with Matsui about a cheaper chip, which is made of a similar material that is .60 PER CHIP! He said they are also very nice. I will recieve samples by the end of the week.

Let us know about the cheaper ones, but honestly if the decal chips are as good as everyone says, I'd be happy to pay $.80 per chip for them.

Any chance you can post a mock up of what they will look like using the 2005 colors?

Also, what are the conditions that is making this possible? As pointed out earlier in this thread, these chips are usually reserved for casinos, so I'm imagining that theremust be a pretty large minimum order. Are we looking at Pharaoh's type numbers? (100,000 or more?)

Finally when are you looking to get this off the ground? Do I have a couple of months to save up the funds?

.80 cents a chip is CONFIRMED!! This is for a 100,000 chip order. I will post the new mock ups later today.
