Chips: 242 | | | Matsui Decal WSOP Chips (UPDATED 8/7) I have been in contact with matsui about making a decal chip (bud jones style) along the lines of the WSOP chips. I have recieved artwork from matsui. The artwork is below. The molds are not binding. I was looking to see if there is interest in these chips, and to see if anybody would like to get a group buy going. The Bud Jones mold CANNOT be used in this buy. We are limited to the matsui molds. The price per chip will be under .90/ chip.
This is the latest updated mockup. (7/25/05) |

again...I repeat...strive for this look: | Dude, you can only use the Matsui molds and they don't have one that looks like that. See here for the choices: http://www.matsui-gaming.co.jp/e/chip/decal.html
Nice work so far fcuk. I'm also not crazy about the 1K mold though. What do you guys think about repeating the 50K mold on the 1K chip? It would be a shame to keep that good looking mold on the 50K chip which probably won't be used much in peoples sets. Another thought is using that same mold with colors (cc.320-b) on the 50K chip so we can use the non-color one (cc.310-h) on the 1K? Yes? No? Confusing? |

Chips: 14,033 | | | How about using the 50k mold for the 1k chip and then use the cc.320-B mold with a 3rd color for the 50k chip.

Chips: 125 | | | How bout 330-B as the mold for the 1k chip?
As for the Inlay.....I really like the Idea of using the modern font to say "Championship Poker" and have the "RIO" graphic say "WSOP"
I don't believe that "WSOP" is copyrighted and if it is...try WCOP....
I am really looking forward to seeing what the Inlay will look like... |

I am really looking forward to seeing what the Inlay will look like... | I was going to suggest that one first, bit it appears to be a 43mm chip which would make it much wider than the rest.

I wouldn't put WSOP on a chip.

Chips: 242 | | | Those improvements on the inlay have been sent over. I got my samples today. And I have NOTHING but good to say about the chips. My only knock I guess is they are a little slippery. Nothing compared to dice chips, but compared to paulsons, they are slippery. Very vibrant, and wonderfuly constructed. Cant wait to get this buy off the ground. |

Just wait for a few weeks. They get a good adhesion to them without being grimey. Quote: |

Chips: 1,584 | | | 330-B is a 43mm chip larger than all the others. We don't want the 1K chip to be larger than a 10K do we?? |

Chips: 76 | | | I agree that the 43mm chip would not fit with the rest of the set. We should probably rule out the 3 color chips and crown molds as well. All that is then left are the 7 molds we are currently using and I wouldn't use the same mold on more than one chip. I think the molds are about as good as we can get them given our options and I really think they look great! Nice work fcuk, these will be great chips. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
