A new round of custom Kings Crown (TR King)

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone was up for a new round of custom TR Kings. Much like the ones posted in the Group Buy photo section.

I'd like to use the same inlay (so that we can buy strange denominations from existing stock (like the $10, $5k, and $10k chips))

However, I'd like to made the edge spots vary a bit from chip to chip. I'm hardcore for having a quarted chip.

Anyone interested?

If this order is just me I'll probably get around 1100 chips @ about $1.30 each. And if the price drops I'll buy more.

But if we order around 3000-3500 chips the price falls to $1 each. And if we hit 5000 chips I think we can expect .80 each.

Here is a super preliminary design. Ignore the inlay

I'm not nearly sold on the 1-100 chips. (they go in order from 1,5,25,100,500,1000, existing 5k chips)

try going to www.trking.com for more info

I really like the 25. The colors on the 100 don't really fit maybe light blue and pink. The 1 would look good with white and light blue in the same pattern.

Any plans for a 25 cent chip? I have been thinking about getting some made on light gold without edgespots.

If you are able to get quartered chips then I'd say get the whole set quartered or at least the majority of the chips quartered.

Anyway I'd be interested for some 25 cents (if created) and $1 chips (I missed them the last time).

I didn't have plans for a .25 chip. But I don't think that rules it out. Because we are just trying to get the total number of chips ordered higher. I'm' perfectly willing to change any of the 1,5,25,100 chips. However, I'd like to see each of the chips in this set have a different edge spot pattern. It won't be the end of the world to duplicate a pattern, but if we can avoid it I'd like too.

So, design yourself a quartered chip and we'll throw it in the mix

Now, about the 1 dollar chip. You say you want the blue with opposing white/light blue chip. If you had this chip would you be willing to have a 25 chip with 3 pink/dayglow green edge spots?

If you make the $100 or $500 quarter pie, I'd definitely be in for some to mix with my set of the last round of custom Kings Crowns.

You will probably want to double or triple up on edge spot patterns -- TR Kings cost a lot to vary the pattern.

Keep the $25. I think it is the best one!!

I could live with the blue $1. If I recall, TRKing had a problem with doing just two edspots though.

If a .25 included (hopefully Lt. Gold). I'll be in for 500-600 of just the .25 and 's.

Seems like the quarter pie chips would create more interest but it is your group buy and your call. Just curious, did you already get a quote of
1.30 for your current mock-ups?

I'll look into how much it cost to vary the edgespot pattern across all chips. This looks like it could bode well for gpc and his goal to get the 25s and the 1s to look alike.

How many chips would you be interested in if we made the 100 or the 500 quartered? The reason I ask is that I feel the quartered chip should be the highest denomination for the set. But if you order a whole bunch of chips and bring the price down for everyone, I'm definetly will to budge.

P.S. I think the black chip would look vary good with yellow and fire edge spots. And I think the 3x2 mold would be best because the 3x1 and (I think) 3x2 molds make the edge spots go deeper into the chip.

I got this quote from a older mock up. But it was the same flavor. 6 chips. 6 edgespot patterns.

I would get 150-200 of the $100 and 100 of the $500. I just think most people don't use many $1000 chips, I don't use them at all in my game. I'd probably get some though just because I'm a huge fan of the quarter pie. I think if you're paying to get the quarter pie made (will probably be expensive) you should use it for at least the two highest chips to justify the cost.

depending on color combo and edge spots, I might be interested in 700-800.
