Good, someone started this thread. :)

I would like to get about 3 of each design (unless there are five designs, then maybe 5 of each design or so).

If no one else is going to take control of it, I will eventually, when it comes a little closer to being time to commit. I don't think it's a problem to wait, since a group buy made up entirely of people who aren't willing to commit to a minimum like 100 chips is probably going to be too small to make a real difference in the big group buy.

If I end up running it, I was thinking something pretty standard like pre-pay me your couple bucks by neteller or paypal and I'd order the chips and send them off.

I (or someone else) could also just order sets and then sell them after they come in. I don't like this idea as much because it involves taking risk of having extras left over, so to make it make sense for the person who orders the chips would have to be marked up a little to compensate. I'd rather avoid profit.

Please someone else run this. :)

well assuming the demand ends up being at least 25 (of each chip, since that's the minimum)...

i might be willing to just front the money, buy them and then get my money back by selling them to those here...

we'll see though, as that is somewhat of a risk...

Yeah, if the demand is solid it becomes less of a risk. If you got a promise to pay to the level of 25 per chip or more, then if someone backed out later I'm sure someone else would show up to say "oh, I missed this, are there any left?", and you could unload them.

Also, I hope you have a neteller account, since that's way easier for me than paypal. :)

I've already commited to a 300 chip buy for personal use, and I was thinking I might go higher. Some of them I was planning to sell as sample sets to friends. With the COA at 500, I'm very interested in moving up to that level, so I will consider passing through the sample sets with my buy. All I'd ask for is cost plus shipping.

If we get to the set of 8 it will be about $4.65 + shipping.

These prices reflect an expected cost of about .05 per chip to ship them to me.

If I am able to get my order up to 500, prices change to 5 $2.65 and 8 $4.25.

I'll be buying some samples/spares too, but I probably won't need quite that many spares...
