Does the comment about there being a "hang" just refer to there experience with the 7/8th label or do they have specific experience with horse head mold inlay size? If it's the first instance, I don't understand the comments regarding the 7/8" labels. Also, what's the exact size of HH inlay area, is it 7/8" or was that required labal size to fit the inlay area.

Also, 7/8" (.875) is smaller than .92 and not the other way around as they replied to Merlin.

That's an excellent point. I bet they are working under the assumption that this is for a 1" inlay (nexgens and dice chips) which is much more common than the HH's 7/8th.

I'm sure Cin will set everyone straight once he gets the samples.

I think they are referring to a dice or suited chip where the center is just a hair over 7/8 but less than 1". I didnt realize his prices were based on the amount of colors you needed, that may start to add up with some of the extravigent designs some of you or I have in mind.

I will start up talks with him again tomorrow, I am way to stoned on morphine right now for clear thinking and this IV tearing the **** out of my arm

The more expenses I hear about this guy tacking on though we may be better off with the ripped sheets, after all I could care less how many colors/denoms/designs you guys want printed I'll do it all for the same price.

Amen to that, all these details are starting to give me a headache.

Yeah, I might want a bunch of color on mine. I'm still not sure what I want though.

I'll probably want to get in on this if I can figure out a design that I like. I have 600 chips coming from the group buy but only 4 colors. I wish I was better at drawing so I didn't have to depend on my friend.

OK, I received 4 sample labels from BestPokerChipLabels yesterday so here are my thoughts.

LOOKS: they look very similar to Cin's rippedsheets labels in that they are glossy, but where some of Cin's graphics were slightly pixlated these labels are crisp and clear with very fine detail.

THICKNESS: they are thicker, period. Putting them on the HH chips and rubbing the two chips together (label to label) it feels very much like there is label to label contact; I do not have any high tech gadgets to confirm this but it is MUCH different than taking two non-labelled chips and rubbing them. Doing the same action with two Cin labelled chips falls somewhere in the middle in terms of friction; they chips do not slide as freely as the BestPokerChipLabels but easier than two plain chips.

SIZE: the slightly larger than 7/8" size is just fine, the label looks good for placement and size on the HH and it goes almost to the edge of the center circle but not quite. I actually like how this size looks.

I know what you are thinking, where are the pics? Well my camera batteries are charging because I also recieved my ASM's yesterday so I was oiling and taking pictures like crazy when the batteries expired. But they will be posted either tonight or tomorrow, so do not worry they WILL be there.

Everyone else may have different opinions, but for me I am NOT interested in these labels. This is my first set of clays, and after playing with 11.5g's I WANT the stacking ability of the ASM's and to be perfectly honest, these chips look killer even without the label! I thought they would look too plain but damn, I like them! My colour choices were a little wacky (grey/arc yellow, orange/imperial blue, lavender/day glo yellow, chocolate/day glo peach, and black/grey) but they turned out great and I am quite happy with them as is. My labelling options have now shrunk to the rippedsheets way or nothing, and if you all get samples of each you will probably see exactly what I am talking about.

Well now... more to consider. Don't like the sound of the thickness issue at all.

I'll have to check this out myself when my samples arrive but I'll have to wait 'til my HH's arrive also. And by then will we still be able to order here from ripped sheets or will this group buy be over?

My goal was to get everyone their labels before they got their chips so there would be no waiting once the chips arrived. Once I get the samples I will give you huys my reccomedations but from the sound of Schmags post the outlook for the bestpokerchip labels is grim.

Overall I think everyone would be better served with the rippedsheets stock as from my personal experience they are the best labels I have used.
