Plus I forgot to mention that the guy at bestpokerchips said he could cut them any shape for us as well.

I'm all for saving some loot. I've been watching this but not commiting until I knew I could afford it. If the price drops I can probably swing labels for about 550 chips.

I was really looking forward to cogs and reversed scalloped labels. Is there no way we can swing this still?

Here's a response I got from bestpokerchiplabels. I asked if they could cut 7/8" labels. I also asked if I'd get charged for more than 5 font colors (I want them to match the edge spots) and how much it would be for 1,600 labels.

"We will be sending your samples in the mail soon. Right now we cut our labels at about .92 which is just under 7/8". We advise this size because with the 7/8" label you have to be dead on or there will be hang. If you would still like to keep with the 7/8" label we can cut it at that size. We will have to charge for the extra 2 colors because we have to set up 2 extra files and also have to send 2 extra ones through the printer. So your total comes out to be $85.00 without shipping and handling."

So you're saying we could have a color issue here as well? I too was going to match edge spots but I have seven colors on edge spots alone. That does't even count the colors in the main graphic.

Their web site says they charge for more than 5 denominations ($5 more for each over 5). I was thinking, "well, I may not put denominations on my labels but my font color might be different so I'll ask, and you can see what response they gave. I'm getting one of each flavor too so that added $10.

I'm not exactly sure what they mean by "hang" either. Does he mean the label could go over the recess of the chip if not centered properly, or does he mean the printing could be off?

Cin... Help!

'Ya know, I didn't even think of that. Why should they charge more for extra font colors when there could be 20 different colors in the background color!
