Defect chips and the AMS group buy, who gets them?

Ok here is my question . How many extra (for defective chips) are we going to get with a 500 order?

It looks like they give you 50 extra chips with a 500 piece order. (that’s from www.homepokertourney.com) If I don’t get any extras, that reduces the savings dramatically.

Here’s an example if I buy 500 chips +50free I pay $250.00 or .45 a chip and get the exact colors I want.

Or I can buy 500 chips for $215.00 or .43 a chip and have to pick from the set colors and hope I get no defects.

I know with a 20,000 chip order there should be 2,000 free chips for defects, who is keeping these?

Try the search feature. I typed "extras" in the group buy forum, and was show 8 different threads. One of which was this very thread, and another one was the ASM Group Buy. Using the search feature, and still having to "search" through 12 pages of the ASM Group Buy is not lazy.

It was a legitmate question, but I see how the "who gets the extras?" part of the question could be taken in a bad way.

No harm done, I have no bad intentions or ill will towards anyone, especially not to KyBill. I agree it was a legitimate question, but I would rather have had that on the main page rather than on another thread. I just felt like it was going behind my back to ask, as if I was keeping that little tidbit a secret or something.

This info will be on the first page along w/ the rest of the info. Let's just let that be the end of it and focus on more important things... like denom breakdowns and choosing colors...
