Custom Blue chips (Samurai Palace)

Ok, finally this has come to a point that I can post this here. Some of you may have seen these on THPF.com and I know many of you are interested. Here is the latest and greatest on these chips!

1st, I have been talking to Dave Endy for some time now trying to convince him to make a casino weight chip (i.e. 10g). Finally after hearing no for the umpteenth time I got a virtual "yes". This is to say that the deal hinges on whether we can agree on the final price. I received the last set of sample chips a few days ago and have forwarded them to the retailer sponsoring this purchase. Upon his approval we will start the official group buy -- for what I believe will be the best Bluechip available to date. As you can see in the mockups this is a new mold, not ever seen before anywhere, as well as featuring unique edge spots and a sophisticated design rarely found in home chips; AND OF COURSE the best part, these will likely be manufactured with true casino weight -- 10g (+/- .4g) grams.

You will also have the security of making your purchases through a well known and reputable dealer with various payment methods.

If you are interested in these chips please let me know via this thread or feel free to pm me.

I should have some more definite dates and prices (per chip) by the end of the coming week.

Here we go folks! It is time for a "promise to pay"... No money will be exchanged at this point but I do need to know exactly how many chips we are going to be looking at for the presale. As I said the price will be .90 cents each. The weight will likely be 9.6 grams. I say likely because Monday I will call and speak with Dave Endy again to ask that they reconsider their position on this.

Anyway, at this point I would like to ask that if you are interested and intend to buy, please reply to the **Samurai Palace-Promise to Pay** thread. In this you should tell me how many chips you would like and the breakdown for each denomination. In addition to this I would like the state you live in and your preferred billing method. This will help calculate shipping costs and get idea how most of you want to pay. Paypal will be our preferred method and ALL payments will be accepted through a reputable dealer you are all familiar with. There is no need for concern as to security with your payments; I personally will not have anything to do with the transfer of funds.

Our goal here is for 20,000 chips. Not that many really but with all the group buys going on right now we really need to insure that we are going to achieve this amount at a minimum.

The chips them selves will be exactly as they have been shown in graphics I posted. However, I have decided to make some minor changes to the inlay given that there has been so much talk about it. This in mind the chips will have two different inlays; the Geisha front and Black back. The front side will stay the same but the black I will change and post multiple options for you all to vote on. Ultimately it will be your decision to make out of the available designs.

I look forward to hearing from all of you!

I might add to these choices in the next day or so but for now these will be the only options. My personal choice at this point is #1...

Which ever one has the most votes will most likely be the final one. If it’s a close race then I will chose.

That IS the Japanese kanji for "samurai" on the back.

Yeah, I took a few minutes to stroll down memory lane... I had forgotten about some of the various versions too.
