The chips are $.76 per chip + $.02 per chip if you want plastic chip racks of 100.

yes i know you werent involved int he last one. too many people thought they knew what they were doing. the chips turned out sub par IMO and could have been much better. this time around i hope that they will be done right.

The Chips we are getting are Replicas. This means they are the closest a chip company can make without copying a chip.

Um, yes they are replicas of the look -- colors, spots, printing, etc. They look as close as they could, and the designers did a great job. This is IMHO a high-quality, high-status chip.

But no, they are not replicas of the actual chip. The WSOP chips were Bud Jones composites and the replicas are Chipco ceramics. So they are completely different materials with a different feel. Not to say one is better than the other, just that they are not the same chips with a slightly altered look. (That would have been nice, but BJ wouldn't cooperate!)

I could be in for 700 chips. I'm kinda waiting to see what happens with the Matsui group buy. I think the Matsui's are my first choice but that group buy seems to be stuck... I'll keep watching both threads and see what develops.

Are we redoing the chips? because the edge spots on the 10k need to be bigger, to have almost a 50/50 split between the purple and blue.

Either way, i might be interested.
