Pharaoh's Club and Casino Table layouts?????

I am one who purchased a #@itload of Ten's custom Paulson chips on this awesome website. I won't let my obsession stop there though. I am also planning on a Pharaoh's "Theme" in my new poker room. So I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a Table layout? If I can find a artist who is talented enough and enough interest I would be willing to do a group buy I guess and make them available to you all out there that have the same sickness i have.

I'd consider it. I have one qualification though, I don't play on one of those goofy oval hold 'em tables, so the material would have to be 60" wide for me. I also prefer velveteen. Good idea.

and by goofy are your referring to my 'pitboss', the typical elongated oval 'home-casino' style table?
and if so...what shape do you play on/prefer?

Nothing personal, it's just my strong opionion that oval hold 'em tables are worthless unless you have a designated dealer. Everyone who has ever played on one knows exactly what I'm talking about. They were designed by casinos because hold 'em is a poker game that can be played by many more people than other games with just one deck - they went oval so the dealer could reach everyones checks, they save a little square footage on the casino floor, and seat 10 players(for bigger profits).

For home tables ovals are anti-social, impossible to deal from the ends slowing the game down, make it hard to read/talk to other players,.... I could go on.... the only real positive of them is that you can seat 10 players, other than that a 60" round table is far superior in all other aspects for your typical home game. But you never see anyone build them because that's not what they use on tv. Build one and you'll never go back, I guarantee it.

Sincerely, nothin' personal. I just dislike oval tables.

I feel the same way about oval tables; I built a 48" round and it's worked out pretty good. The only thing I dont like is that tha folding table legs aren't really designed for a round table. Overall I think its a better choice for games with a rotating dealer.

I would be interested in buying 2. Both of my tables are rectangular. I like the concepts where you lay down closed cell foam and cover with a good quality speed cloth that cinches to fit your table ...similar to pokercats. However, I would modify the design such that the foam was enclosed between two layers of material that could be removed by unzipping. This allows you roll-up or fold the cloth / foam as a single piece.

These guys are pretty new but they use incredible cloth and the graphics are stunning on this cloth. "Our process actually dyes your original design right into the cloth itself so that it will never wear out or rub off like airbrushing or silk screening tends to do." Im not affiliated with them just think its a great product. [url]www.lonestarpokercloth.com

We play on goofy 8 foot oval tables

We do play on the goofy oval tables but we have a center dealer. I might buy two table layouts if they were available for the our oval tables. As for those of you that have the Pharaoh bug, like me, I have something coming for you guys will make you lose your breath...........Stay tuned.......about 2 weeks.

Here's a clue......I won't tell you what it is til I get the final Product in my hands and I'm happy with it. I'm Very Very Very Excited about it. The Only Person who knows anything is Ten who I called and asked for his "OK" on it. Here's a Clue.
