Chips: 202 | | | matsui (no spots) - we need a list of locations any ideas for casino location? Teahupo'o, Tahiti is one option, as well as having no location at all. If there are any other ideas out there, let's hear 'em! Let's decide on 3-4 locations that everyone likes and then we'll post a poll, or if there's an obvious frontrunner, we could probably skip the poll... |

There's a small volcanic crater which is a marine and wildlife preserve called molokini. As no-one is allowed to set foot on it and it has volcanic ash (black sand) as a make up seems like it might be cool.
there is also a rumor about it being bet on a hand of poker by a former king.
So I guess my suggestion is Molokini, Hawaii | Do we really need to vote now? |

And I like a name that has something behind it rather than something entirely made up. | None of the other locations (except for Lohan's Lagoon) are made up. As far as I know, they're all real places (even Toadsuck, Arkansas). Is Molokini, Hawaii a real place? I don't have a problem with it either way, I'm just wondering. Quote: |

| No, this isn't an official poll, just a way to get some ideas out there so we can post a poll. Otherwise, the poll would have had 1 choice and probably would have been the most one-sided poll ever. |

Chips: 1,828 | | Molokini is indeed a place in Hawaii. Because it is a small uninhabited island, it is not an official city within Hawaii. It is definitely one of the most popular tourist dive spots off of Maui. Here is a description:
"Crystal waters and stunning underwater splendor await you in Molokini!
Molokini is a marine life park, and one of Hawaii's top dives. It is crescent moon shaped island formed by a volcanic cinder cone, located between western Maui and the uninhabited island of Kahoolawe. The northern rim of the of the crater lies below sea level, causing the interior crater to be flooded.
Molokini is divided into three separate areas that appeal to the beginner, intermediate, and expert divers. Molokini's crater basin affords protected waters and an abundance of sea life, is only 35 feet deep, and is ideal for beginning divers and snorkelers. An underwater wall on the inner area goes to depths of 70 feet for intermediates, and the back side of the crater whose depths of 350 feet call to the intrepid expert divers." |

Chips: 1,828 | | | Punalu'u, Hawaii If you want a location that fits perfectly with "Black Sands", it is Punalu'u Bay, Hawaii. This place is an actual black sand beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. This is a place that is very magical in a sense that you do not see this color or this type of beach anywhere else in Hawaii (I lived in Hawaii for 31 years). Here is more information on this beach: "Punalu'u (pronounced: 'poo-nah-loo-oo') Bay is known for its beautiful black sand beach located on the Big Island of Hawaii. Punalu'u got its name from the fresh water springs in the bay where Hawaiians dove with gourds to the ocean floor to tap the springs. Rare and endangered green sea turtles frequent the beach and may even swim side by side with you as you play in the warm, clear waters. Beachcomb the sparkling black sands for rare olivine crystals and shells, or simply enjoy the warm tropical sunshine while working on your tan. There are ancient Hawai'ian Heiau (Stone Temples) at each end of the Bay, and numerous hiking trails and opportunities for discovery! Secluded and quiet, this is the perfect getaway spot for a honeymoon, or a family vacation - including fantastic snorkeling and scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the Bay. Whether your passion is the ocean, the mountains or the green forests, all are within easy reach of Punalu'u." |
