Chips: 94 | | | Elements Set Group Buy - Withdrawn. The artist has affirmed that his work can not be used in a group buy - so I have withdrawn this group buy. Sorry everyone, but thanks for your input.
Guess I go back to the denoms again (since I was the only one who liked them).
The price of poker (chips) has just gone up...
If this does not work out - I will likely scrap the ambigrams and start over - but I really don't want to do that..

Chips: 1,861 | | | yeah symmetrical CI's, or CI could be worked into the circumference, out of square with the ambiagram itself. Unfortunately, I think CI has to be on the chip somewhere now due mainly to a Nevada law. Wouldn't hurt to ask to leave it out though.

Chips: 9,392 | | | The "CI" has to be on the chip. It only has to be on one side (but I imagine that it could be on both).
You could easily replace one of the dots in the periphery of the chip with it, or but it is really very unobtrusive. If you look at the chips on their members page you will see what I mean.

Chips: 397 | | | Hey Ghost, when you are porting it to Illustrator, can you make the mockups of the chips actual size? That way we can get a better representation of the chip and how the changes really affect them
I dont like the black edges b/c in those pics it looks jaggy and out of place, But I imagine it would look better if the chips where in the right scale, etc |

Chips: 94 | | | sure will. BTW early feedback I got from HPC was that there would be bleeding issues, so the black outlines might be necessary. I see a lot of designs that incorporate them.
Going to take me a while to get this ported due to lack of familiartiy with illustrator and a big crunch at work. |

Chips: 397 | | I'm aquiring Illustrator as we speak. Maybe I can do something. Not that I know anything about it, but how hard can it be? |

Chips: 94 | | | ok, folks - bit of news. The artist has reaffirmed his desire to only have this be my personal set, not to have it as a group buy. Guess that means this is closed, unless I hear otherwise from him. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
