Chips: 94 | | | Elements Set Group Buy - Withdrawn. The artist has affirmed that his work can not be used in a group buy - so I have withdrawn this group buy. Sorry everyone, but thanks for your input.
Guess I go back to the denoms again (since I was the only one who liked them).
The price of poker (chips) has just gone up...
If this does not work out - I will likely scrap the ambigrams and start over - but I really don't want to do that..

Chips: 396 | | | Nice job on both sets of non denoms
Heres my opinion
I like the symbols but it looks cluttered on the face of the chip
I DONT like the fact that there is alot of empty space on the chip without the symbols on the face.
I think the best way would be no symbols on the face and then choose some sort of gradient or even better a ghost pattern like jdcarlo did for his customs |

Chips: 94 | | Being a huge Tears for Fears fan - you don't how hard its been for me to keep them out of this theme - esp as they released an album titled 'Elemental'.
Some sort of standard background image might be good - esp one that ties them all together. Let me ponder... (of course, you realize that the denoms took care of this issue quite nicely, which was the only reason I used them - and the font I found worked perfectly).
A friend at work (who is not buying chips, but has offered a lot of opinions, did suggest that this chip needs something that says...POKER.. One thing I have avoided, however, is anything that would have one direction be the top Quote:

Chips: 396 | | | I disagree about the Poker comment. I like the simple design and the fact that they dont have too much text |

Have you been doing this work in Photoshop or Illustrator? HPC.com is going to need raster images in EPS format, which is the basic Illustrator format. I think your work is quite good enough to go right onto the chip, I don't think HPC.com artists need to do anything but get it into the machine.
Oh yeah... leave the word "POKER" off of them, it's just trite.

Chips: 94 | | | heh - I wasn't meaning using the word poker, or for that fact any words at all - just some 'element' of the chip that is poker related. That said - I have no idea what that would be..
I am working with HPC already - one of the things I do not know well is what colors should not be aside others from a bleeding perspective- so there is a chance that the outline colors, etc might change, or that I might just add a small black outline to some parts. |

Chips: 1,861 | | oh, I see... some poker element, not the word.
Heh, well chipco is going to put "CI" on there somewhere... that's pretty poker related Too bad, because then they truly will have a "top" and "bottom"

You probably won't be able to talk them out of adding a "CI". Think they'd go for a CI ambigram?
Maybe you could put two "CI"s on there, one of them being upside down.
