Chips: 216 | | | Possible group buy for labels for the ASM group buy I am thinking of getting a group buy together for labels to go with the ASM HH group buy. These would of course be like the ones I have on my circle/square chips (see post in custom chips for cog labels). I am thinking of doing five shapes: Round, cogs, scalloped, starburst and hexagons. These are pretty much the thinnest waterproof polyester labels you can get and I can vouch for the quality of the sheets from ripped sheets. The more people invoved the cheaper it will be for those involved. This all hinges on whether or not the HH group buy gets off the ground. You would be able to purchase the sheets blank or I would offer up my service to print themor I could send them to someone else you want to print them.
THis is pretty much a feeler poll to see what kind of interest there is for them. | | Sponsored Links | |

Chips: 216 | | | Just figured there are other people that do labels out there and someone might want different artwork from someone else. But I would be more than willing to work with people on their designs and printing but there will be a fee to cover my time and printing costs, and my fee may be higher than others ( like those that sell on ebay). |

Chips: 552 | | | I'm new to labels, can you explain the cost structure? $x per page, or $x per chip? Cost difference b/w shaped inlays vs. regular round inlays? |

Chips: 216 | | There are alot of different types of labels of varying quality. I have found the ones that I got from www.rippedsheets.com to work great with my circle squares. They are a poly vinyl label which is permanent and waterproof and resists scuffing more than any other labels. I paid alot for mine due to the fact I only bought 25 sheets so I paid about $5 a sheet you can get them as cheap as a couple dollars a sheet if you buy larger quantities. There are 63 labels to a sheet if you get them in 1". Rippedsheets can also cut them in any shape we want (there are some limitations but they have approved all the shaped I sent them, mentioned above) The labels I am thinking of for this group buy can be read about here http://www.rippedsheets.com/laser/oidrwpoly.html |

Chips: 107 | | | Is 500 the last price break? If only 20 of us want 25 sheets, thats already 500 sheets. The poll already is at 19, so I imagine 500 is a given.
I think Jason should design all of our labels, and make some decent coin in the process. If he goes through the legwork, and his designs are top notch, he should be rewarded accordingly. |

Chips: 161 | | | Hey Now
Just a few questions. I received my blank Square-Circle chips in this week. (I kind of like this mold.)
This mold does not have a recess in the middle for a label. Is this label real thick? Are they hard to apply?
I think that I might be interested in these. If I did the math right, the labels at the most would be around $0.14 per chip blank plus the printing cost. Could you give me a round about printing cost say for two colors?
Thanks for your help

If we do go with mulitiple shapes/cuts, wont the price break be for each of the cuts and not for the overall sheet count. Say like right now, we have about 20 people intrested and as an average they will get 500 chips/ 1000 labels = 16 sheets, add two sheets for mistakes, print setup etc. = 18 sheets. 18 sheets each = 360 sheets, now divide that up for 5 different cuts and you get 72 sheets per cut. We would need another 28 sheets per cut or approximately 8 more people with an average chip set of 500 to get to the next price break at 100 sheets. My question is do we want to go with all five cuts or maximize the price breaks by going with fewer shapes? | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
