Possible group buy for labels for the ASM group buy

I am thinking of getting a group buy together for labels to go with the ASM HH group buy. These would of course be like the ones I have on my circle/square chips (see post in custom chips for cog labels). I am thinking of doing five shapes: Round, cogs, scalloped, starburst and hexagons. These are pretty much the thinnest waterproof polyester labels you can get and I can vouch for the quality of the sheets from ripped sheets. The more people invoved the cheaper it will be for those involved. This all hinges on whether or not the HH group buy gets off the ground. You would be able to purchase the sheets blank or I would offer up my service to print themor I could send them to someone else you want to print them.

THis is pretty much a feeler poll to see what kind of interest there is for them.

I strongly considering the HH buy and would be down for some labels as well. I have a basic idea for my design, but nothing actually drawn up yet. If I do this, I'll be in for 1000 chips, so that would 2000 labels.

CinOs3s,
I am very interested in buying some labels to put over the new JB Paulsons. the ones with the Grand mold.

Do you think its possible to put a label over their inlay? from what i can tell in pictures there is a slight recess. from what you are saying about these new vinyl labels, they are super thin and super sticky so that got me thinking about putting them on some Paulson JBs.

i would like to put a design on the JBs to match the $1 Wynn chips that i currently have in order to have some uniformity in my set. none of the current paulson designs (retail or group buy) interest me. i still havent decided what color to get (either the purple, orange, or white) and whether or not they will have denoms on them or not.

Big question, are you able to print an edge bleed (print to the very edge of the chip) on these? I am thinking that if you do a full 1" I will need to put a black ring around the label border as a result. I'd really like to get smaller labels as to emulate the current HH inlay method, though.

How much would you charge for enough labels printed for 500 chips if I supplied the artwork?

Yeah you can put a label over them, the question is would you want to? I think the labels we are getting for this buy will be plenty large enough to cover the JB inlay without a problem though. And the glue on them is very strong as well.

Yeah I blead all my printing to allow for some slight alignment issues once and a while. I would however not reccomend a black ring on the outside because if you get just the lightest shift in the design when printing they will look terrible.

It depends how many people we get in on the buy. Right now my goal is to get them for $3 a sheet if we get 100 of each design. So if we use that as a guide you will need at least 16-20 sheets (depending on your chip breakdown) so at $3 a sheet you will be at around $60 for the labels and then $20 for me to print them with your design. So I would figure +/- $80 for 500 chips.

Just so everyone knows I will not be starting this group buy until the HH group buy has closed. This way people will already committed to the chip buy and will know better if they want the labels or not. I will be making a page on my website for people just to go there and fill out how many labels that they want so we can get a good estimate on how many sheets we will be getting so that when the label group buy starts we will have a better guestimate on the price. Keep an eye out for that when the HH group buy officially opens

What type of printer can be used to print on these labels? My wife is a graphic designer so it might be easier for me just to order blank labels.
