Possible group buy for labels for the ASM group buy

I am thinking of getting a group buy together for labels to go with the ASM HH group buy. These would of course be like the ones I have on my circle/square chips (see post in custom chips for cog labels). I am thinking of doing five shapes: Round, cogs, scalloped, starburst and hexagons. These are pretty much the thinnest waterproof polyester labels you can get and I can vouch for the quality of the sheets from ripped sheets. The more people invoved the cheaper it will be for those involved. This all hinges on whether or not the HH group buy gets off the ground. You would be able to purchase the sheets blank or I would offer up my service to print themor I could send them to someone else you want to print them.

THis is pretty much a feeler poll to see what kind of interest there is for them.

So what would I be looking at cost wise for a set of labels for 500 chips?

I think I could find examples of what I want from other sites and would also be able to supply the logos I want, basically would require minimal design work.

I would be interested in getting round labels for 1200 chips or so, depending on the final details, as well as the cog labels for 1000 chips. I already have a design on paper but I have no software programs to do it up so I would prefer to have someone do the printing.

Ok just got off the phone with rippedsheets, the price per is based on each cut and not the total of all. Also as i mentioned before there is a surcharge of a $1 a sheet for sheets that have more than 30 labels so if we got in the neigborhood of 100 sheets of each shape we are looking at about $3 sheet. If we cut down to 2 different cuts we would only be saving about 40¢ a sheet which IMHO isnt worth giving up the variety of the other cuts.

Here is a sheet count for the required number of sheets for an amount of chips:

25 chips=1 sheet
50 chips=2 sheets
100 chips=4 sheets
150 chips=5 sheets
200 chips=7 sheets
300 chips= 10 sheets
400 chips=13 sheets
500 chips=16 sheets

Can you post samples of the various shapes of the labels we can choose from?

OK, can you give an estimate (following the per sheet theme) if we want you to do our printing? I just want to get an idea of my total cost without shipping and other minor things. Thanks!

I would be willing to cut people a break on printing their labels

If you do the design and I just have to print it it will be $20 per 1000
If I have to do the design and print them it will be $25 per 1000

I just realized something is probably funny here.

...how much is it going to cost per chip to label front/back on 1500 chips? That's 3000 labels. I'd probably have whoever can print them do so if I supply the finished artwork. I'm also wondering if I should try a smaller label to mimic the PC.com inlay (fun centering job) or get a label that spans the center area.

CinOs3,

I received 2 HH samples in the Mail from ASM.
I'm strongly considering the group buy.
Would you possibly be able to mail me 2 sample labels?
I will most likely go with the group buy and with you for labels if the labels sit well in the samples I received.

Let me know?
