Chips: 9,135 | | | prize and bounty chip group buy? My wife suggested a group buy of "prize chips." Probably chipcos that say something like poker tournament winner, or runner-up, etc. I think she has been watching Celebrity Poker Showdown and likes the "golden chip" they get when they win.
If we got 20ish people to put up $30-40 each, we could get 30-40 winner's chips each (enough for a lifetime or at least several years). The chips would have to be fairly generic, but it might work.
What do you think?

Chips: 1,861 | | | I do a global bounty, so 20+2 means that $20 goes into the prize pool and then $2 for the bounty chip. Whenever you bust someone, you take one bounty chip. I love going against someone who has me covered and plopping it on top of my chipstack before pushing them to the middle. It kind of reinforces the fact that you're willing to die on this hand.

Chips: 39,028 | | Anyone here want my opinion?
I like the idea of the western wanted poster.
Ok, I'm done for this week.

Chips: 9,135 | | | I started this thread, but it has been allowed to languish a bit.
IMO we need two chips/coins.
I would make the bounty chip a chipco (?oversized) with a wanted poster with bullet holes. The face could be a generic poker player (sunglasses, unshaven) and might have a stack of chips or cards on it as well. It would say "bounty" or "reward paid" or "wanted: dead or alive" but would NOT say chiptalk (sorry Ten) so it would be fairly generic and have wide appeal.
The champion version would be a coin. I like the idea of avoiding any hand so it doesn't look too cheesy. Maybe a loving cup overflowing with poker chips? Maybe just a giant stack of chips? I like the idea of chips pictured on both the bounty and champion versions - this is chiptalk, isn't it?
I really don't have the time or the artistic tallent to do this, but would certainly be in for both versions.

Is there enough interest in the bounty to get that many? Also I dont have the eh emm excuse the pun "Coin" to sponser a group buy for them. Anyone willing to pony up on this one, if there is enough interest? |
