prize and bounty chip group buy?

My wife suggested a group buy of "prize chips." Probably chipcos that say something like poker tournament winner, or runner-up, etc. I think she has been watching Celebrity Poker Showdown and likes the "golden chip" they get when they win.

If we got 20ish people to put up $30-40 each, we could get 30-40 winner's chips each (enough for a lifetime or at least several years). The chips would have to be fairly generic, but it might work.

What do you think?

That's exactly it!!

I bought 25 $5 NJ skulls, and it cost me $35 with shipping to Canada.

I think this will work just fine, although I may just have to see what the coins look like.
But if anyone needs a quick fix bounty chip try getting some of those NJ skulls.

I got them from http://www.discountcasinogear.com/st...ml?affcode=BPP I think they are on sale for .62 a piece.

Clear!!! (sound of a defibrilater discharging)

Well, it may be too late, but let's see if this poor soul can be saved.

How about a group buy of this design on a Chipco chip?

That's all, no other edits (assuming Lynbark is on board), no prize coin or chip, nothing else, just bounty chips in the number of your choosing.

Alive or dead? You make the call.

A very rough estimate is that getting these on Chipco's would run about $1.50 per single chip. That would go down nearly $.30 per chip for multiple chip orders since it would save on PayPal transaction fees.

Hey people... I've been dealing with some family that was displaced by the big bad Hurricane actually. I see someone has decided to run with the Bounty Chip buy in another thread. Fine with me, I've got a lot on my plate as it is.

As far as the prize coins go... I'm still short by probably 40% of the committment I need before I would feel good about going ahead with the order. So if you all want really really want a prize coin, then convince your friends, neighbors, and relatives to come on here and sign up for some coins!

vanquish, you might want to post a new thread in this section so that people will know its not dead. Also you could post a count of how many you had and how many you still need in order to go ahead with the prize coin.

Maybe (and people....please don't hate me for this!) just maybe we should think about doing a chip instead of a coin. It might bring people on board quicker.

Either way you still should start a new thread. My 2 bits.
