Possible PokerChips.com Group Buy

I am working on getting some chips made up and figured I would offer them up as a possible group buy if anyone else was interested. After much thought and debate, I have chosen to go with PokerChips.com and the Horsehead mold.

I am not sure on the chip and edge spot colors yet, so if others are interested that can be voted on. The inlay however is done and will not be changed. It is modeled after the ESPN show TILT.

If there is enough interest in a group buy, I will contact PokerChips.com and see what can be worked out price wise and the quantities needed.

Here are the inlays:

Let me know if interested. Thanks.

That looks great!

If you get the colors right with the horsehead mold, I'm sure you will get quite a bit of interest.

I might be interested depending on colors edgespots etc. One other concern of mine is that I don't want to wind up buying chips that wind up being sold all over the place on various sites.

One suggestion is trying to persuade PC.com to let you vary the edgespots. The standard line from them has been only one choice (the 3 wide edgespots), however, they have allowed variations on this in the past a few times for different movie chips etc. If you get enough orders, they might be convinced!

I agree. I would like to do something different with the edge spots if I can. I have sent them a couple of emails on quantity pricing, etc. I will probably follow that up with a phone call and see what options are available, etc.

The edge spots could be an issue. I am in the process of doing the same thing with the colorado and diamond graphic. I figured I could do the diamonds thru asm because they use only 3 color spots on each chip, but was going to find someone else on the colorado's like blue chip blanks, then stickering the chips.

It might be worth paying to have the inlays done by pc.com. If you can't get the labels on without them touching each other when stacking the chips it will affect stacking and durability of the chips.

There is a big discussion about this going on here:
