Chips: 14 | | | Possible PokerChips.com Group Buy I am working on getting some chips made up and figured I would offer them up as a possible group buy if anyone else was interested. After much thought and debate, I have chosen to go with PokerChips.com and the Horsehead mold.
I am not sure on the chip and edge spot colors yet, so if others are interested that can be voted on. The inlay however is done and will not be changed. It is modeled after the ESPN show TILT.
If there is enough interest in a group buy, I will contact PokerChips.com and see what can be worked out price wise and the quantities needed.
Here are the inlays:
Let me know if interested. Thanks. |

There is only one way to find out. If you don't ask you don't get! I am not going to ask, but I will leave this to apc2005
AB | I asked, then asked again, then asked again. They will not vary the edge spots. Jim explained to me that of course they could do it, they could do anything, but they won't, for good reason. He said they did allow it before, but a guy bought a bunch of green chips with same spots as a local casino and got caught and he got an angry call from the casino. I also suggested ANY type of variation, one that's never been done on casinos before and never will, and that we may even pay for a mold, but they are unwilling.
Of course by all means try again... and again... and again until we get it! |

Chips: 14 | | | It will be a no go on the custom edge spots. I asked twice and was told no both times. First time I simply asked. Second time I asked what quantity I would need to order to get custom edge spots and was told no go again.
So, custom edge spots will be out for this. It will be the traditional three edge spot design.
For a group buy of 5000-10000, chips will run around .90 each. I sent the inlay design and was told that was fine. |

Chips: 14 | | | If anyone knows of a good place to host images for free, let me know. I will then put the inlay images on that and post the link to this site. |

The only other option would be to look into having Blue Chip or TR King do the chip as they would have more flexibility with the edge spots. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
