Chips: 53 | | | TR King Black Sands Non-Edgespot Clays *Formerly Matsui* Well, it seems as if there is enough interest in this type of chip to start its own thread. Here is the low-down: As seen on a lot of TV events, such as the Heads Up Poker Tournament, there seems to be a new interest in chips with bright colors and no edgespots. A simple black inlay looks great on these chips, and it works perfectly with the bright colors.
Now for the details. Chips will be made by TR King, for around $0.70 a piece (plus shipping and PayPal fees). Our inlay is already decided an final, and we have all of the colors chosen. The chips will be non-denom, and use the following colors:
-Pink
-Light Green
-Light Blue
-Lavendar
-Yellow
-Gray
-White [/quote] |

Chips: 242 | | | So at this point this is what we have. No Denoms, Black inlay with white writting. What kind of text are we putting on these chips. Most of us hate the word poker or casino on our chips, so what are we looking for. |

The bright colors get a bit of balance with the white and black inlay.
Nice mockup jonny; change the name of the casino and the font, throw in an exotic locale, and you've got your chip.
Non-denom, non-denom, and also non-denom. | i again push for denoms, only because of the "weird"colors with 1 or 2 non denom chips.
oh, and here is another suggestion, i recently got some hotstamped chips to use with my $1 BJ from the Bike.
these are to use as 25 cent and 50 cent in my NL game cash game.
and instead of the cent sign, i went with the euro sign.
people say they look classy.
maybe EURO symbol with denoms for a classy look.
then you can have monte carlo or something on the chip...
my 2 cents. |

Chips: 242 | | | I say we go with a Caribbean style, as these chips are bright and cheerful. Plus when I play outside (or as we refer to it Caribbean style) I can use these |

I know this is off the theme, but her is another suggestion, the background of the inlay can match the chip. I also love the bright colors of these chips in the inlay, I was always a fan of the Palms logo |

Chips: 957 | | | Jinny is in Japan, it is probably mid day over there. I will check the world clock. It is 10:40 pm wednesday here in Arkansas, that makes it 12:40 pm thursday in Japan-----lunch time over there. If he is in his office today, he will probably send some sort of e-mail. |

Chips: 242 | | | If we stick with the caribbean theme, and we can get a custom mold (as I read from the first post), I say we go with a palm tree mold, would go great with the theme. Matters how much a custom mold would drive up the price though. |

Chips: 275 | | | Considering the colors, island locales strike me as a bit "theme-night-ish". How' bout a little South American flair...Buenos Aires? Sao Paulo? Caracas? Barbados sounds ok though.
And please, for the love of god, non-denoms. You can get a cash set anywhere. For tournament play, non-denoms are awesome; without having to load up on 1000s of chips, you can host T1000, T5000, T50,000. Make this a tournament set. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
