TR King Black Sands Non-Edgespot Clays *Formerly Matsui*

Well, it seems as if there is enough interest in this type of chip to start its own thread. Here is the low-down: As seen on a lot of TV events, such as the Heads Up Poker Tournament, there seems to be a new interest in chips with bright colors and no edgespots. A simple black inlay looks great on these chips, and it works perfectly with the bright colors.

Now for the details. Chips will be made by TR King, for around $0.70 a piece (plus shipping and PayPal fees). Our inlay is already decided an final, and we have all of the colors chosen. The chips will be non-denom, and use the following colors:

-Pink
-Light Green
-Light Blue
-Lavendar
-Yellow
-Gray
-White

I would rather not have too man non-denom chips, it would be annoying to have a $5, $25, non denom for $100 , $500, non denom for $1000. I think keep it all non denom or have one non denom chip in one of the more unpopular colors, like gray.

I agree with FCUK keep it non-denom.

In the e-mail, i asked him to e-mail me some pictures of the clays with inlays. My understanding is that they have been working on a new label. If it is the same quality as everything else they do, it will be excellent.

If we go non-denom for all of them, I'm pretty sure it would cost us $.39 a chip... atleast thats what I'm getting from their website. Also, your chips push us towards 6,000... this is starting to look like a realistic possiblity...

...If we get someone to step up, that is. Like I said before, I have no problem helping, but I just don't think I can run the paypal and collecting the money and distributing the chips... but if one of you guys would do it, it would allow all of us to get these chips!

Wow - for once I actually agree with Tom!

People may not take you very seriously if they think you're talking out of your a$$.

P.S. You're trying to start up a group buy & haven't even seen a sample yet!?

depending on the colors and final design I could be for a 1000, if the chips have denominations.

I've seen a sample, but not with the inlays. I thought that was what he was talking about... as far as I know, no one has an inlay sample yet.

I can handle it. I can do the paypal and shipping if you really need somebody. I can ship everything out from my business. I am willing, just as long as everybody is happy. I know I only have a few posts on chiptalk, but I have been on THP and 2+2 for a while.

IM NOT COMMITING TO IT but I may be able to do the paypal and distribution if noone else will, but only if this doenst get over 10k chips. Why would non-denom change the price, theres still an inlay?
