TR King Black Sands Non-Edgespot Clays *Formerly Matsui*

Well, it seems as if there is enough interest in this type of chip to start its own thread. Here is the low-down: As seen on a lot of TV events, such as the Heads Up Poker Tournament, there seems to be a new interest in chips with bright colors and no edgespots. A simple black inlay looks great on these chips, and it works perfectly with the bright colors.

Now for the details. Chips will be made by TR King, for around $0.70 a piece (plus shipping and PayPal fees). Our inlay is already decided an final, and we have all of the colors chosen. The chips will be non-denom, and use the following colors:

-Pink
-Light Green
-Light Blue
-Lavendar
-Yellow
-Gray
-White

This is coming together nice, i'm in for 500-1000, just not sure yet. Yeah I say we vote on whether we do a non denom, or numbers without dollar signs, and we need a logo/casino name/theme to go with.

Thanks Johnny, nice mock-up. Just wondering, are you planning on getting in on this?

Also, that order brings us closer to 4,000. I think if we can get someone to do the ordering, and finalize the design, we can make this happen. Come on people, someone can step up and run this for us!

Also I'm not sure what everyone else wants, but do we only want one color writing on the chips as in each chips writing is white or match the writing to the color of thi chip, if someone could make examples of each that would be great to look at.

Yeah, I'm thinking non-denom would be the easy way to settle things, but there is still a chance a solution can be made with denoms.
i think they should have denoms and then 1 or 2 chips without denoms that can swing to whatever value.

and i would be in for 500+

Simple black background with white text is what I had in mind. And I'm thinking maybe ahopen's idea is pretty good... if we made the more popular colors (pink, green, maybe orange) non denom, and then made all the rest high values, we could cover cash games (using the three non-denoms) and tournaments, using the high value denoms and the nondenoms.

Alright, looks like we have about 5,000 worth of orders, now we just need to find someone to run this!

Is this for samples? If so, could you send one my way?

I am 100% in for 1000. I always loved edgespotless chips, and at .45 or less a chip, its a GREAT deal. I say we go non denoms. There are SO MANY denom chips out there, lets makes these unique
