Not technically a group buy for chips used to play poker but a group buy for chips regardless.

I know there are a few golfers on this site so I thought I'd see if there is any interest in these chips that I am ordering for the golf league I run with a dozen of my buddies.

The basic idea is that once you hit a shot described on the chip (cart path, for example) you get the corresponding chip (Armadillo in this case). The chip stays with you until someone else's ball hits a cart path. Once that happens you get to pass the chip to that golfer and so on and so forth throughout the round.

At the end of the round, each chip costs a pre-determined amount (we use $1) that goes toward our end-of-year party pool. You could certainly alter this in any way. Maybe something like the each chip means that player has to pay the other golfers in his group the $1 (or whatever amount you'd like).

I need to get 10 complete sets ordered to meet Gene's minimums although he did say he might be able to be flexible on this. Final cost will depend on final numbers obviously. Per Gene's site:

Up to 99 chips: $1.35/chip
100 to 299 chips: $0.99/chip

I'll pay for shipping from Gene to me but I would ask that you kick in a couple extra bucks to cover shipping/handling from me to you.

HUGE thanks to str8edg for his work on these. I think he hit a home run.

So....who's in? I'll leave this open for "orders" through May 10, 2012.
